Possession. Not a Sarah McLachlan song

Scout has decided that everything belongs to me. Everything. McG spends most of his time at home sitting on the chair in the study (oh and, ahem, in the kitchen, where he belongs) but whenever he goes near the chair, he’s met with:

“Daddy! Off! Mummy’s Chair! Mummy’s Chair!”

He goes near the couch in the living room and hears:

“Daddy! Off! OFF! Mummy’s Couch! Mummy’s Couch!”

Although she does come up to me when I’m relaxing in the backyard after a hard day and asks hopefully:

“Pia’s Beer?”

  1. Magnificent photos of Asia. I did visit China in the 80s, in fact it was my first o/s trip, via Hong Kong. Was on Tiananmen Square during the initial peaceful student protests in 86. I don’t know if you or others visited Hong Kong and saw the (now presumably destroyed) Walled City. It was a block of hi-rise flats which had an inner core of people living illegally in alleys without daylight or power. They would siphon electricity, running illegal businesses and the like. It was amazing. Keep up the brilliant Asia photography!
