Well people, with 3 months to go, it’s time to place your bets – will MiniMc be a boy or a girl? What date will MiniMc be squeezed out? And how much will he/she weigh? Leave your answers in the comments section below…

For the record, we have no clue what gender the baby is (so it’s no good trying to bribe us) and the estimated due date is 24 January 2006.

Winners will be judged on firstly guessing the correct gender, then to the person closest to the due-date, then we’ll separate the wheat from the chaff with birth weight.

I think it will be a boy, born two weeks early on 10th Jan (all the babies recently, including my son, were born 2 weeks early, and I reckon you like to keep up with the trends) and will weigh in at 3100 grams (sorry, been in Japan too long, can’t remember how lbs & oz. work (but maybe just under 7 pounds))

4. It took several days, but I’ve just figured out (‘Merican that I am) that people aren’t predicting an October and December 2006 birthday. I kept wondering what was wrong with EVERYBODY ELSE!!!!!!

7. I’ll trust the doctors pretty much completely for due date. How about Jan. 25th, one month exactly after Christmas. Definitely going to be a boy. And that boy will weigh exactly 6lbs, 8oz. How about sending me that prize now? My predictions are never wrong. I bet I can even predict the name. Starts with an ‘A’ right??
   
   PS Although Im sure my prediction will be spot on, can my wife submit an entry too, to double up my chances of winning. Or is that like cheating?

30. The esteemed MiniMc will, of course, be fashionably late and arrive around 10pm on the last day of January (ummm…the 31st!). Whilst he (yes, definitely a he) would have rather liked to arrive in time for an Australia Day beer at the obligatory barbeque, he’s courteous enough not to steal the thunder from the country’s birthday. Oh and he’ll weigh in at 8lb dead on.

31. It’s GOTTA BE A BOY!!! Even with my history of 3 girls, it couldn’t beat that strong MAGAIN GENE!! I rekon 8 pounds 1 oz, as Blake was only like 9 pounds 3 or something stupidly large like that! Yeah, right, like women are suppossed to be able to push something that big out! ha ha Thanks God!! ANyway I also know he’s gonna be on 26th January 2006, coz I am phsyic see. Is that how you spell it? He will also have brown hair, and blue eyes, and I rekon he might have a willy. Good luck! Dont’ forget to scream! It doesn’t hurt…much!!! Owwwwee!
