Packer elves
Holy Shit, Batman, less than 4 weeks and I'm gonna be Mrs. McG!
We have an insane amount of crap to pack and send away, so it's just as well we make a good team - I love putting stuff into boxes (Matt hates it) and he likes taking the boxes to the post office and settling all the last minute bills (I'm far too lazy for such administrivia).
We have been procrastinating a bit, but we did have an entire season of "24" to get through, so don't be too hard on us.
6 days and counting before we fly fly away. It will be hard to leave, so just as well we have nuptials to look forward to...

A big THANKS,
Umm, sorry for posting a this here, probably the wrong spot.
Just wanted to say thanks for your little Hokaido winter adventure. Inspired me to jump on a plane xmas eve last year from Oz. Jagged some xpensive tickets from tokyo up to sapporro, found a bus, an old couple gave me their sons room in a jam packed hotel/lodge up at Niseko, then night skiing in a foot of powder....awesome little village, up there with my Andes adventure (steeper mountains much more fun).
And you guessed it, well maybe you didn't, but the son showed up on my last night, surprise visit from college....
Niseko Powder, Arigato
Where you 2 going on the honeymoon ?! Japan???
Ciao,
and thanks again
Dan
Nah, mate - we've waited 2 and a half years to leave Japan! (just joking... hmmm). Wedding and honeymoon will be in undisclosed venue in Australia.
fantastic! only a couple of more weeks to go before you're married and hightailing it to more adventures. i'm getting married too in september, but i can't wait for it all to be over with. so much stress! be sure to post your pictures. i can't wait to see them!
Ahhh the oh so very dangerous lure of 24... or any season for that matter of any kind ;-)
Best of wishes for the big day :-D
Hope you are feeling much better for the impending nuptials. Congratulations and may you live happily ever after! I just started visiting your site and really enjoy it. I lived in Japan for one year as a college student. It's been fun sharing your experiences as well as remembering mine. I also think your photos are AWESOME!
*weeps* and I don't even have any purikura with you!
Well Schoolgirl - there is always Saturday night!
6 days only!!! can't believe it.
